Just days after wrapping up his first NFL Draft as general manager of the Las Vegas Raiders, John Spytek is expanding his leadership team. On Wednesday, the Raiders announced the hiring of longtime Denver Broncos scout Brian Stark as their new assistant general manager.
In a corresponding move, the team also brought on Johnathan Stigall as assistant director of college scouting.
Stark brings over a decade of scouting experience from Denver, where he served as director of college scouting from 2016 through 2024. Before joining the Broncos, Stark spent years in the college coaching ranks, holding key offensive roles at San Diego State, the University of Washington, and Yale—where he served as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2009 to 2011.
Stigall, meanwhile, brings a wealth of NFL experience to Las Vegas. Entering his 27th season in the league, he spent the last 11 years with the New York Jets, contributing to their scouting and personnel operations.
With these two veteran hires, Spytek continues to reshape the Raiders’ front office, signaling a strong emphasis on college scouting and long-term team building.
